Fees regarding transfer

  • Most of domain names require an "Authorisation Code" (also known as "Auth-code" or "EPP Code") to initiate a transfer.
  • You'll be able to obtain an auth-code from your current domain provider.
  • When registering for less than the cost, you must incur the cost of transferring to another company or maintain it for a certain period of time.

Precautions

  • If the domain is locked, please contact the existing company to unlock it.
  • In order to proceed normally, you must submit a “transfer agreement” within 4 days after applying for the transfer.
  • Please check your mailbox carefully as the “previous consent” email may be classified as spam.
  • If you do not receive the “Old Agreement” email within 2 days, please contact the existing company.
  • If the institution is transferred according to the Internet Address Management Organization (ICANN) policy, the domain is locked (registrar lock)
    and cannot be transferred for 60 days.
  • Please note that this is ICANN's security policy to prevent accidents by domain owners who are not domain owners from illegally transferring domains.

Transfer of domain may be denied

  • If the registration fee is not paid after the registration period expires

  • What is the cost of relocation?
